SIROWA SACCO BRINGS FINANCIAL INCLUSION TO ORONGO BODABODA STAGE AND OGWETHI SELF HELP GROUP

On Thursday, 2nd March 2023, the Sirowa Sacco team made a visit to Orongo BodaBoda stage and Ogwethi Self Help Group with the objective of bringing financial inclusion to the community. The team, which comprised of the head of marketing, head of credit, and head of business scaling, among others, was on a mission to educate the locals on the various products offered by Sirowa Sacco. During the visit, the team shared information about the following products:

JiSort Daily Loan of KES. 500 - This product is designed to help the locals access quick loans of up to KES. 500 to help them meet their daily needs. The loan can be repaid within a week, and one can qualify for a higher loan limit upon timely repayment.

Karibu Emergency Loans of up to 10,000 paid within a month - This is an emergency loan product that allows one to access up to KES. 10,000 to cater to unforeseen emergencies. The loan is payable within a month, and one can qualify for a higher loan limit upon timely repayment.

NHIF - Sirowa Sacco also introduced the locals to the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF), which is a medical insurance product that provides affordable medical cover to its members.

QR Card - Sirowa Sacco also introduced the QR card, which is a cashless payment method that allows one to make transactions without the need for cash. The QR card is linked to one's Sirowa Sacco account, making it easy for members to access their funds. Its primary function is to help bodaboda groups get identified easily in case of an incident.

Benevolence Insurance - Sirowa Sacco also shared information about the Benevolence Insurance product, which provides financial support to members during times of need. The product covers funeral expenses and medical bills, among others.

Eat Now Pay Later Product - The team also introduced the locals to the Eat Now Pay Later product, which allows one to enjoy a meal and pay for it later. This product is especially helpful to those who might not have cash at the time of purchase.

Petrol Station Project - The Sirowa Sacco team also shared an exciting opportunity with the locals, which involved every member saving KES. 100 daily for 24 months to enable the group to own a petrol station. This project aims to empower the community and create an income-generating opportunity for the locals.

The Sirowa Sacco team encouraged the locals to take advantage of the products and services offered by the Sacco to help them achieve their financial goals. They also urged the community members to spread the word about Sirowa Sacco to other potential clients in need of financial solutions.
