On March 19th, 2023, SIROWA SACCO had the pleasure of visiting St Anne's Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) in a meeting hosted by 5,000 members of the Mothers Union from Renja Church, St Monica Church, Rae Church, and St Steven's Cathedral. During this visit, SIROWA SACCO informed the church members and Mothers Union about the benefits of becoming members of the SACCO, which can greatly improve their financial well-being.

The presentation given by SIROWA SACCO highlighted the various benefits that members of the SACCO can enjoy in a period of 12 months. SIROWA SACCO understands that financial security is a key component of a person's overall well-being, and they have taken great steps to ensure that their members have access to the best financial services and products in the market.

Members have access to National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) coverage for the entire year, ensuring that they are covered in case of any medical emergencies. Additionally, members are entitled to last expense cover/benevolent fund, where they can benefit up to KES 250,000 for five family members. This is particularly useful in times of unexpected deaths, where families may struggle to meet the financial obligations associated with funerals.

Another benefit that SIROWA SACCO members enjoy is school fees cover. Members can receive coverage ranging from KES 55,000 to KES 110,000 per year, depending on their needs. This is especially helpful for families who struggle to meet the high costs of education in Kenya.

SIROWA SACCO also provides its members with opportunities to save and earn dividends. Members who save with the SACCO can have the chance to own a petrol station on 25 decimals of land. Additionally, they can benefit from owning one acre of mixed farming, which includes dairy goats, indigenous vegetable farming, and Kienyeji chicken. This is a great opportunity for members to diversify their income streams and improve their financial security.

During the visit, SIROWA SACCO emphasized the importance of financial literacy and encouraged the church members and Mothers Union to adopt a sound saving culture.
